Scottish Parliament questions

We’ve had more national news coverage this week.  Jamie Hepburn who is one of our list MSP’s has asked questions in the Scottish parliament on our behalf.  Mr Hepburn has been a supporter of the house for quite some time and it’s good to see him raise these questions on behalf of the town and the house.

Details of this question appeared in last night’s Evening Times.  Whilst we welcome this type of coverage it did highlight that we still have a long way to go to get support from the Scottish Government and our petition and letters don’t seem to have gotten the full message across.  We would welcome more people writing to the powers that be to keep up the pressure around this subject so if you can – please do write to the Culture Minister to show how much support there is around this issue.  Links and template letters can be found under our ‘how you can help’ section.  Your councillors would also be useful to contact on this subject.
