Cumbernauld House Trust needs you

On the same night CHB Developments Ltd revealed their plans for the House, the Trust can announce the launch of their fundraising campaign.

Some people believe the House is “saved” but that is far from the truth. An owner does not guarantee that the House will be treated with care and respect and tonight’s plans have generated many questions which will need to be answered before the Trust can support any planning application to that effect.

The new owner has demonstrated little regard for the local community so far and we propose an alternative which involves and engages the people of Cumbernauld and the surrounding area with a key piece of history and heritage at the heart of the town.

Every penny we receive will go towards the work of the Trust in making that acheivable vision into a reality. If you can only afford a pound or two then that’s fine by us and to coin a phrase, every little helps. You can donate right here on the Trust’s website by using the using the ‘Donate now‘ link in the ‘How you can help’ menu above.
